As a Health Promotion Practitioner, you will lead and support evidence-based health promotion initiatives across community, education, sport and recreation settings, working alongside local government, community organisations and key stakeholders to deliver population health outcomes. What you will be doing

  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement, community participation and cross-sector collaboration to strengthen prevention and health promotion initiatives across diverse communities
  • Monitor, evaluate and report on program outcomes while identifying new opportunities, partnerships and evidence-based approaches to improve population health and wellbeing.

 What you will bring Key Selection Criteria

  • Tertiary qualifications in health promotion, public health, health science, community development or a related discipline
  • Minimum of one years’ experience in a population health role within a community context
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and community partners
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing reports, project documentation and funding submissions
  • A proactive, community-focused approach with a passion for health equity, prevention and creating systems-level change that leads to positive community impact.

  • Evidence of the right to work in Australia and a valid Driver’s Licence.
